Current Position Server and Expeditor: Borealis Grille & Bar
- As an expeditor, I am the liaison between front-of-house and heart-of-house staff during service.
- Responsible for timeliness of orders, garnishing and presentation of plates as well as plating for soups and certain appetizers.
- Helping where needed during service, whether it be aiding the dishwashers, running food, or stocking the kitchen.
- Role is reliant on clear and concise communication, the ability to quickly problem solve and to foresee possible issues before they arise.
- As a server it is my responsibility to entertain the guests needs, but also to help them realize why Borealis is different. By knowing where their food is coming from, and why it comes from there, the customer gets a better dining experience.

- Responsible for daily maintenance and ongoing revisions to Fairmont.com
- Played a fundamental role in the creation and implementation of EveryonesAnOriginal.com, launched in February, 2010 and the design and content refresh of Fairmont.com in 2008.
- Role requires communication with individual hotel properties, Corporate IT team, outsourced design groups and inter-office marketing teams.

Leadership & Communication Experience
2010 - 2011 Vice President: Hospitality and Tourism Management Student Association, University of Guelph
- Responsible for maintaining communication between HTMSA and the College of Management and Economics Student Association.
- Accountable for e-mail and web communication with the HTM student body
- Represent the interests and opinions of all HTM Students through the organization and support of Charitable, Educational and Social events.
- Maintain a leadership role to both the executive and general council
2009 – 2010 3rd Year Representative: Hospitality and Tourism Management Student Association, University of Guelph
- Organized and ran the Smart Serve certification program for first year students including on-going marketing and communication amongst students and fellow organizers
- Participant in annual fundraisers and events that assisted charities and promote the HTM program including Think Pink, the HTM 40th Anniversary, Alumni night and Career Fair, and Garden 2 Table.

- Organized and attended key events including the Hospitality and Tourism career fair/job expo, graduating class year-book, and 2nd and 3rd year class trip
